Jerry Goldsmith must have really enjoyed himself on this assignment!  Centering on a girls’ convent school, and starring Rosalind Russell, it featured Hayley Mills (she was the Emma Watson of her day!).

The movie is still a hugely entertaining watch today, made even more pleasurable by Mr. Goldsmith’s fascinating and immensely creative score.

Darren Allison has written some perceptive and helpful notes which also include some rare on (and off) the set stills in the 12 page booklet which also has a full Japanese translation.
