Back in the Swinging Seventies, four young musicians, at the behest of their musical ‘scout’, Steve Race, cut a couple of tunes for the burgeoning British arm of the revived Polydor label. Very much a ‘vanity thing’, and very much at the urging of Steve, an album of Beatles songs followed.
Our version of that album features - previously unavailable on CD - three bonus tracks: Norwegian Wood and the two non-Beatles tracks that were first cut, one composed by pianist Mike McNaught, the other by Mr. Race himself! Pure joy!
